Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing - GradCertClinNurs(Curtin) - GC-CLINNU
The Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing, with specialist stream in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Practice is designed to provide the theoretical foundations of nursing science, together with the clinical knowledge and skills associated with the stream. It focuses on the development of clinical leadership, promotion and integration of evidence-based nursing practice in each of the streams to foster the development of graduates consistent with the profile of the nurse specialist, offering the advanced-level nurse further clinical skills and an opportunity to extend career options. A significant component of the course is conducted in a health care institution.
Credits needed to graduate: 100.
Each unit is 25 credits unless stated otherwise.
Advanced Clinical Practice 1 and Advanced Clinical Practice 2 are clinical placement units which will be taught in a hospital setting.
2017 Entry requirements:
- Bachelor degree recognised by Curtin University
- Registered nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board
- Depending on the bachelor awarded, IELTS 7.0 (NB<7.0) or equivalent may be required
