Courses for Singaporean & PR applicants
Curtin Singapore courses use the same curriculum as those offered at the Bentley Campus with the added attraction of offering a trimester academic calendar allowing students to complete their degree in a shorter amount of time.
To find out what program is right for you choose the type of applicant you are:
GCE O Levels holders can begin their university studies with the Certificate IV in University Foundation Studies and the Diploma of Commerce. The Foundation and Diploma programs are offered on campus through Curtin Education Centre.

GCE A Levels holders can begin their university studies with either the Diploma of Commerce or Bachelor of Commerce program. Students who do not automatically receive entry to the Curtin Singapore Bachelors program can begin their university studies with the Diploma of Commerce program.

Curtin University has long standing relationships with the local Singaporean Polytechnics. Polytechnic graduates with related majors are eligible for up to 12-16 units exemption depending on:
- Choice of course and major available
- Finnal approval after an initial assessment of application by Curtin Singapore
Available programs
Students must successfully complete 24 units for a total of 600 credits. As an introduction to the fundamentals of business, and to help students choose their major, all first year students study a foundation of six common core units. The common core units include Accounting 100, Economics 100, Information Systems 100, Business Law 100, Management 100 and Marketing 100.
Note: Some students with The Diploma of Commerce from Curtin or other approved business qualifications from technical, polytechnic and other colleges may receive recognition of prior learning for the common core units.
