Lead the business world
Business, or commerce, is the process of managing people or organising activities, usually with the aim of making a profit or improving the way a business works. All workplaces incorporate business, from small, independent shops to government departments and global mining companies.
This course will give you business knowledge and practical skills to prepare you for a diverse range of careers. In first year you will study six common core units (accounting, economics, information systems, legal framework, management and marketing) to gain an introduction to the various aspects of business.
You will develop communication skills and key professional skills identified by employer groups. You may also receive career guidance and study overseas. One of the most unique elements of this course is the Business Capstone unit in your final year. You will run a simulated multi-million dollar company, applying your skills and knowledge to reinforce your learning while providing workplace deliverables.
