Film and Television

Analytical and practical production skills are essential for a career in either the independent, broadcast or corporate film and television industries. In this stream you will gain conceptual knowledge and creative skills by working intensively with professional-level equipment in a challenging and creative film and television environment. You will specialise in corporate production, learning how to effectively plan and implement corporate production projects.

Public Relations

Public relations is concerned with relationship management in all sectors of organisational activity. It aims to assist a business to meet its goals while considering the needs of all stakeholders, be they staff, clients, shareholders, government bodies, suppliers, retailers, the general public or other important groups and individuals. This stream will teach you how to plan, develop, implement and evaluate communication strategies which present an organisation in the best light to public and clients, and promote effective information flow within an organisation. It will prepare you for involvement in primary decision-making and give you the skills to undertake a major communications role.
