Local polytechnic diploma applicants

Advance standing

Diploma holders from recognised institution can begin their university studies at Curtin Singapore and are entitled to apply for credit exemptions for prior study.

For example students with a Diploma from a local polytechnic, or a private education institute may get up to 50% credit exemptions into the Bachelor of Commerce program, which will then lower the number of modules they need to complete at Curtin Singapore which brings down the tuition fees and duration of study.

This course offers students who have graduated with a diploma in a relevant subject area from a Singaporean Polytechnic the chance to complete the final year of Curtin University's Bachelor of Arts (Mass Communication) and in doing so further develop skills and knowledge in two or more related fields of study at the intersection of media, business, design and new communications technologies.
