- Journalism: Learn print and broadcast journalism theory and practice. Learn how to communicate effectively, produce news and current affairs material for print and electronic media and the legal and ethical rules that govern the profession. You will learn the professional aspects of journalism practice, the history and economics of the media, social and ethical issues, together with a theoretical understanding of media law and regulation.
- Web Media: The Web Media stream provides a pathway to a career in the expanding field of web-based media and communications, from website creation to online community management. The stream emphasises social media and networking, and units involve practical components together with core concepts, giving you the necessary understanding and skills you need in the socially productive and culturally rich online environment.

Qualifications
- Successful completion of the Diploma of Arts and Creative Industries.
- A recognised diploma in related field will be assessed for entry into the second year.
- A local polytechnic diploma in related field will be assessed for entry into the third year.
