Domestic applicants

Applying to study at Curtin Singapore is easy. The steps below outline how to submit your online application.

Step 1: Choose a course

Find the course you’d like to study through the website course section. You will need to make sure you satisfy the admission criteria for your course before applying. Not all courses at Curtin Singapore can be started in all trimesters or semesters, so make sure you check the course intake. Please view our academic calendar to find out when our intake starts.

Step 2: Ensure any supporting documentation meets our scanned document guidelines

Once you decide on which course you want to study and have checked that you meet the entry requirements, simply collect electronic copies of your academic certificates and transcripts, with grading system descriptions, and identification documents (e.g. NRIC, working pass, passport) then you’re ready to apply online. Please make sure your supporting documents meet our scanned documents guidelines.

Step 3: Apply

Click the ‘Apply – find out how’ button on your chosen course page and follow the steps to lodge your online application.

During the application submission process on the application portal, you will also need to decide to opt-in or opt-out of the medical insurance.

If you are a local student with existing medical insurance coverage in Singapore, you may opt-out of the compulsory medical insurance scheme. You will be required to sign a Letter of Undertaking confirming your request to opt-out. Otherwise, we will purchase medical insurance on your behalf which you will pay for.

Below is an indication of application processing timeframes when applying to study at Curtin Singapore, once the completed application and all required documents are submitted. You will be notified if further documents are required and your assessment may be delayed until we receive these documents.

How to accept your offer at Curtin Singapore

Understanding your Letter of Offer

When you receive your offer package via email, carefully review your Letter of Offer and make sure your name, course title and intake details are correct.

There may be conditions on your Letter of Offer and you will need to meet all conditions before accepting your offer. If you have any questions about the Letter of Offer conditions, please email the Admissions Office at admissions@curtin.edu.sg for assistance.

At Curtin Singapore, we grant credit for units within your course based on your previous study and it’s called Credit for Recognised Learning (CRL). If you are eligible for CRL, you may be exempt from completing some units, and you may be able to finish your course in a shorter amount of time. The CRL granted will be reflected on your Letter of Offer.

Accepting your offer

Once you meet all the conditions on your Letter of Offer, complete the Acceptance of Offer form and submit the form via the application portal.

Students under 18 years of age

If you will be under 18 years old when you start your studies at Curtin Singapore, you will need to complete the Identity Declaration form and provide your parent or legal guardian particulars.

Contract signing appointment

You will receive your Standard Student Contract via email which sets out the contractual commitments of both the student and Curtin Singapore. The contract will contain key mutual obligations on matters such as course details, payment terms, refund policy and more. An Admissions staff will guide you through the contract terms.

Please note that if you are under 18 years of age, the Standard PEI-Student Contract has to be signed by you and your parent/guardian.

Making payments

After submitting the signed Standard Student Contract, you may then proceed to make your school fees payment within 7 days. Fees are payable by trimester or semester instalments and the amount will be indicated in your Standard Student Contract. Find out how you can make your payments here.

Attending orientation

Nearer to the intake start date, you will receive an orientation email invitation. Orientation normally runs at least one week before class commencement. We run different sessions for domestic and international students and details will be included in the orientation email invitation. It is important for you to attend your orientation as this is the time where you receive advice from Curtin Singapore staff to help build your study plan, choose units and enrol in them and pick up your trimester or semester timetable.
